The tech industry is forever changing and evolving. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, its growth has been accelerated and the industry has seen growth over the past 2 years that nobody could have expected. As remote work became more widespread and market demands altered, work environments shifted overnight. To accelerate their transformation efforts, it was advised that technology companies modernise their supply chains for more transparency and resiliency, as well as adopt cloud, everything-as-a-service (XaaS), and edge intelligence.

As reported by McKinsey, organisations have sped up the digitalisation of their customer and supply-chain contacts, as well as internal activities, by three to four years. Also, it was reported that the percentage of digital or digitally enabled products has risen by seven years.

Data Fabric

A data fabric is a set of data services and an architecture that provide consistent capabilities across a variety of endpoints in hybrid multi-cloud systems.

Cybersecurity Mesh

Cybersecurity mesh is a cyber defence approach that uses firewalls and network protection solutions to secure each device with its own boundary. Many security approaches secure a whole IT environment with a single perimeter, while a cybersecurity mesh takes a more holistic approach.

Privacy-Enhancing Computation

It’s a means for many parties to derive value from data without revealing themselves or their other datasets in the process. They work on a one-on-one basis, using actionable data, with no sensitive information shared between the participants.

Cloud-Native Platforms

A composable application is a concept or idea that individual functional pieces of an application or process can be separated from the entire application or process. This means that more capable applications with better functionality and greater purpose can be developed.

Decision Intelligence

Decision intelligence is an engineering subject that combines social science, decision theory, and managerial science theory with data science. Its application establishes a framework for best practices in corporate decision-making as well as mechanisms for large-scale machine learning.

Hyper-Automation

Organisations use hyper-automation to quickly discover, assess, and automate as many business and IT activities as possible. It is a business-driven, disciplined strategy. The synchronised employment of various technologies, techniques, or platforms is referred to as hyper-automation.

AI Engineering

AI engineering is a new profession that focuses on creating tools, methods, and processes that allow artificial intelligence to be employed in real-world situations.

Distributed Enterprises

A distributed business, such as a store, bank, or hospital, has multiple sites or branches, which are commonly located all over the world. Many of these companies’ headquarters are protected against cyberattacks, but their branches aren’t, leaving back doors exposed for thieves to obtain access to important information.

Total-Experience

Total-experience is an approach that weaves together the four disciplines of multi-experience (MX), customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX), and user experience (UX) to create greater shared experiences.

Automatic Systems

An automated system is a mix of software and hardware that is built and configured to do tasks automatically without the need for a human operator to supply inputs and instructions.

Generative AI

Generative AI is a technique that uses existing text, audio files, or photos to create new material. Computers that use generative AI recognise the underlying pattern in the input and generate comparable material.
